NRG came to AKQA in need of one new page on their existing website. Taking it a step further, we created what they really needed: an extensive website that matched the extensive scope of their company. We designed a modular web & mobile system, and built a site that the client could completely customize at their leisure. In the process, the project turned into a full revamp of NRG's digital identity.

9 months and 400+ pages later, NRG's digital refresh spanned desktop and mobile with fresh UX, UI, brand voice & copy, illustration, photography, interaction, and more— all in consideration of the future of the brand. Powered by Adobe's AEM CMS, the website is managed and updated by the use of the dozens of customizable content modules that we designed, all of which can be added and rearranged on any given page.
