Illustrating a golden vintage — Threading a playful line through a gourmet dinner series to celebrate a 50-year history.

For their golden anniversary, Silver Oak winery engaged BASIC/DEPT® to promote a gourmet dinner series featuring several world-renowned chefs. We brought the charm of this dinner series to the digital space through the use of illustration and elegant design.
I illustrated each participating chef, plus several other people and landscapes, using a blind-contour style that complemented the series’ sense of gourmet. The illustrations were the focal point of an elegant microsite that invited customers to learn about the winery’s 50 years of history as they registered for chef-hosted events.
